What's Happening?
                                       Tribute to James Tonks #5

Baseball Calgary would like to pay tribute to our former 2010 Midget player #5, James
Tonks, who passed away on April 11, 2012 at the age of 19 years old.  James was a
dedicated student enrolled in the University of Calgary and an avid baseball player who
had played with Airdrie Little League, Babe Ruth, Baseball Calgary and the University of
Calgary Dinos.  He loved the game and was passionate about helping others in their
desire to learn to play.  James collapsed after a practice and passed away 5 days later.  
He will be missed by many.

In honour of James' contribution to Baseball Calgary, we are retiring his #5 jersey and
designating the home dugout as the "Tonks Dugout" where we will hang a plaque in his
memory.  The #5 and his initials will also be painted on our c-can.

and his brother Shane will take place
as follows:

Baseball Calgary Work Bee Day - Saturday, April 28
