Justin Willis enters his third year of coaching baseball with a strong passion for the game and a competitive edge shaped by both playing and coaching experience. He has coached at the 18U AA and 15U AAA levels, working closely with players during key development years.
Justin played college baseball at Clark College in Vancouver, Washington, where he earned Second Team NWAC West honors as a designated hitter. His time at the collegiate level helped shape his understanding of the game and the importance of preparation, consistency, and mental toughness.
As a coach, Justin strives to help players truly love the game while pushing them to work hard and compete every day. He emphasizes effort, accountability, teamwork, and embracing failure as an essential part of growth and development in baseball. He believes that learning how to respond to challenges is just as important as physical skill development.
Justin began coaching because baseball has always been a major part of his life. After being fortunate enough to play collegiately, he wanted to give back to the game by sharing his knowledge and experiences with younger players and helping them reach their potential.
Outside of baseball, Justin works as a plumber. He is a devoted San Francisco Giants fan, with Buster Posey as his favorite player, and is looking forward to a fun, competitive, and rewarding season with the team this year.
